THE BAHAMAS TRAVEL BASICS

TIME ZONE | Eastern Time Zone, also known as GMT -5
VISA / PASSPORT REQUIREMENTS | No Visa required and you’re allowed to enter The Bahamas with just your U.S. passport alone and it must be valid at your time of entry into the country.
LANGUAGE(S) SPOKEN | English is the official language of The Bahamas.
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO LOOK OUT FOR? | Violent crime against tourists has been a major concern in The Bahamas recently, as is the threat of hurricanes.
